To all the visitors dropping by from Scripting News, I just wanted to say a public thank you to Dave for being such a nice guy regarding the whole OpenSearch subject. My work on OpenSearch was influenced in so many ways by what Dave has done with RSS. It literally builds upon his work in both design (OpenSearch uses RSS), and philosophy (simplicity, open licensing, and extensibility). I'm glad 106 Miles invited Dave to talk -- and many thanks to Noam Lovinsky for putting it together this week and to all of Skobee for their generosity in hosting it.
