Thanks to the hard work of others, the photo galleries have returned to unto.net.

I’ve been impressed with Flickr since they launched. But I never used it personally because I wanted to display my images on unto.net. Unfortunately, that meant that I couldn’t take advantage of all the features that Flickr has to offer.

Fortunately, the migration to WordPress gave me a chance to use the Flickr Gallery Plugin so that I could store and manage the photographs on Flickr, but display them here as well. So I signed up today for a Flickr Pro account (a steal at $25/yr), uploaded a few hundred photos, followed the directions I found on Nice Mess, and heavily tweaked the stylesheets and templates. Ideally I’d like to have the links in the sidebar autogenerated, but I can live with doing it by hand for now.
