I just had this wonderful mental picture of an Army Sergeant, veins bulging out of his tree-trunk neck, standing over a prostrate, 20-year-old George W. Bush, screaming “I don’t give a shit who your daddy is, maggot! Now drop and give me 20!!”
Of course, it was the National Guard, not the Army. And they did care who his daddy was. And George never got yelled at, because he didn’t show up.

It boggles my mind that so many Americans feel they can relate to Mr. Bush. I mean, not so much the rich Americans with privileges — I can see why they relate — but the average working American. They do relize that Mr. Bush has never, ever been held accountable for his personal failures, right? Failures academically. Failures in business. Failures in his service to the country. And now failures as President. Do people realize that every time George W. Bush has messed something up, someone has bailed him out? Who bails the average American out?
Hell, who’s going to bail America out?
