I suspected that it wasn’t healthy for me to keep squinting, but one thing or another always kept me from getting my eyes checked out. But last week it started getting so ridiculous that I finally went to see a doctor, and he recommended that I begin using reading glasses, did an examination, and made a prescription. Apparently I have an astigmatism, about which the doctor whom I met briefly with today said something to the effect of “whoa? First glasses? I’d imagine you’d be getting headaches in about an hour of looking at the screen.” Thanks, doc.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure they do make me look smarter. Just look at me trying to figure out where the keyboard is…
