So the issue becomes two pronged - can you work a system that benefits both the artists and the end users AND can you also make this system so that it is a transparent replacement to the existing system so that the end users don‰Ûªt know and/or don‰Ûªt care that the system has been replaced.Eric has some of the more interesting takes that I've read in a while on the challenges that musicians, and the record industry, face in a future filled with filesharing.
