Sorry to have been quiet for so long. I've been heads down getting the final version of the OpenSearch 1.1 specification finished and preparing a community-oriented OpenSearch website. With luck those will both go live within the week.
On a related note, today is my last day with A9/Amazon. It has been an amazing several years here. The team is like family to me. I would work with any of them again in a heartbeat. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from such great people and I wish them all nothing but the best. And remember what Udi says, we're still at day one in search.
Over the next few weeks I plan to spend a lot of time hanging out around the Bay Area meeting with interesting people. There are a half dozen short projects that I want to tackle and so many things I have queued up to write about. The future promises great things (more on that soon), so keep watching this space...
