Wanted: Hired Gun, Apply Within

P2PNet made a great find in noticing that buried in a long list at HotJobs’s “security/enforcement” section was this brilliant posting by the Motion Picture Association of America. The MPPA is looking to fill the $75K position in Encino, CA with someone that can “oversee Internet anti-piracy operations worldwide,” “examine new piracy methods & protocols,” and “oversee evidence-gathering efforts in support of litigation or criminal enforcement.” But before you get too excited about being the next bounty hunter for Jack Valenti, brush up on your networking, programming, and legal skillsets — qualified applicants must be up to speed on TCP/IP, NNTP, Java, Perl, and the DMCA, as well as lack scruples or a shred of self-respect. [Ed. okay, we added the last two.]
