Beta Testers Needed
November 14th, 2005 by

As I mentioned in an earlier post on the sites that we used to read, I have been working on a small, AJAX-enabled, bookmarking application as a side project. It is at the point where I could use some help beta testing it…

The only things I ask of you for this round of beta testing are that:

  • You already use del.icio.us, and have an account there.
  • You use Firefox (support for IE is fully broken at the moment, and Safari is iffy).
  • You agree not to tell anyone yet. (Not that it’s a big deal, and it will be open source anyway, but…)
  • You are nice enough to give me feedback, even though the documentation and support are non-existent.

Here’s a peek:

If you would like to help out, please email me (dewitt at this site), IM me (“untonet” on AIM), or leave a comment below.

Thanks!

interesting. but what is this supposed to be? a php + mysql + js app? xul + js? just js? does it need a web server on my pc or are you going to host the service?

Not to give too much away, but about half the code is written in JavaScript, and runs on the client, and the other half lives on the server. Perl and MySQL, not PHP…

Count me in… Sounds interesting… Any specific qualifications you looking for?
